Before You Review: What to Know About Tribe Management

We believe feedback matters. Whether your experience has been positive or frustrating, your perspective helps improve how communities are supported.

Before leaving a review, we want to share a bit about what Tribe Management does, what we don’t control, and how your feedback impacts our teams and how we service you.

    Our Role in Your Community

Tribe Management is a professional property and strata management company. We support residential communities by helping with:
    • Day-to-day operations
    • Maintenance coordination
    • Financial administration and reporting
    • Communication between residents and councils
    • Governance and compliance support

We work on behalf of Strata Councils and Boards, who make decisions about budgets, policies, and major building matters. This means some things are within our control, and some are directed by the council or board, building owner, developer or governed by specific provincial or municipal legislation.

    What We Can Help With

Your review is especially helpful when it reflects experiences such as:

    • Responsiveness and communication
    • Professionalism and courtesy
    • Help resolving issues or questions
    • Clarity of information
    • Support provided to councils/boards and residents

These are areas where our team directly serves your community.

What May Be Outside Our Control

Some concerns are not determined by Tribe Management, including:

    • Council/Board decisions about fees or special assessments
    • Building rules or bylaws
    • Developer construction issues (in newer buildings)
    • Insurance costs or utilities
    • Long-term infrastructure or capital projects

We understand these issues can be frustrating, and we want to help where possible — but they may not reflect the service our management team provides or the correct decision-maker responsible for the topic at hand.

If You Need Support Right Now

If you’re currently dealing with an issue that hasn’t been resolved, we encourage you to reach out directly so we can assist you:

    • Contact your community manager directly
    • Use your resident portal Tribe Home to log a Help Desk ticket where you can monitor the status and progress of your ticket

Many problems can be solved faster through direct communication than through a public review.

    Why Your Feedback Matters

    Feedback helps:

    • Our teams learn what’s working and where we need to improve
    • Other communities understand what it’s like to work with Tribe
    • Shape better service and communication across our company
    • Identify learning opportunities to support understanding of who does what in the complex world of strata and condo living

We read every Feedback submission and review and use them as part of our ongoing training and improvement efforts.

    A Note on Honest Reviews

We do not pay for reviews or offer incentives for feedback. We believe the most valuable reviews are honest, respectful, and based on real experiences. Whether your experience has been positive or challenging, we appreciate you taking the time to share it.

    • Okanagan Strata Management Challenges & How to Solve Them

The Okanagan Valley isn’t just famous for its vineyards and sunny lakes—it’s also home to the legendary Ogopogo! While this mythical lake creature might be hard to spot, the many strata developments popping up, from Vernon to Kelowna, and down to Penticton are not. Property management in the Okanagan is anything but ordinary.  While Strata Councils in the Okanagan operate under the Strata Property Act, as a strata Owner or a Council member here, you know that navigating these unique communities can feel like chasing a lake monster. Exciting, but not without surprises!  We recently spoke with our Kelowna Strata Management team about their experiences managing properties in the Okanagan. They shared the key challenges they’ve seen and gave practical advice on how to face them.

    • Managing Stratas in Mountain Resorts: Insights from an Expert

Managing a Strata Corporation in a mountain resort community is a world apart from traditional strata property management. These unique environments combine breathtaking scenery with complex logistical, financial, and governance challenges.

    • Rethinking What “Home” Means for Condo & Strata Communities

For a long time, strata and condo living in Canada has been defined by the fundamentals: buildings, budgets, maintenance schedules, and bylaws. Those things still matter — but they’re no longer the whole story. Across the country, Residents in strata and condo communities are expecting more than well-run properties. They’re looking for management that supports a better home experience — not just building operations.
