Tribe has seven offices across the country – downtown Vancouver, Delta, Victoria, Kelowna, Kamloops, Calgary and Cambridge. Come say hello!
Our Mission is to connect communities through heartfelt service and simple, innovative technology, while our Vision is harmonious Community Living, informed and inclusive.

A Bit of History
1983 – 2017
Tribe Management was born out of 30+ years of property management, as part of the Peterson Property family from 1983 to early 2017.
2012
Our parent company Tribe Property Technologies (then known as Bazinga Technologies) grew out of a vision to connect neighbours with neighbours.
Joseph Nakhla, our CEO’s experience growing up in a six-unit low-rise in Alexandria, Egypt instilled in him a sense of community founded on social values and responsibility with a particular focus on condo-living.
2017
In 2017, our parent company (Tribe Property Technologies) purchased the Peterson strata management portfolio and rebranded it as Tribe Management.
Our focus is to build a tech-enabled management solution that focuses on combining people-forward processes and communication with tech-forward software solutions.
2021
Tribe announced the acquisition of Gateway Property Management, adding significant expertise in strata/condo, rental and commercial management. Gateway was a family-run business born out of Vancouver in 1965.
The company grew into seven offices across three provinces. The shared values of loyalty and family have united us in a way that has felt like an extended family coming together for a giant reunion!
Today Tribe is Canada’s most innovative property management company, bringing community management with heart to more than 40,000 homes.

Meet Joseph, our Founder and CEO!
With two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, Joseph founded bazinga! in 2012, the world’s first cloud-based platform designed to improve the experience of community-living in cities. In 2017, his passion for improving community living naturally progressed into the vision behind Tribe Management Inc.
Having lived in multi-family communities, Joseph realized that there was a need for a tool to help Strata Councils and residents communicate efficiently, consolidate documents, and more. This was the beginning to a bold improvement in strata management – setting the foundation to revolutionize the industry.
Outside of work, Joseph loves giving back to his community. As a seasoned soccer player, he has been coaching junior and premier league teams for the past 25 years. On the weekends, you can find him smoking up meat and making homemade rotisserie with his wife, and 3 kids.
