Our History

Once upon a time (in early 2017), a tech-fwd and people-fwd marriage occurred. Bazinga Technologies acquired a small property management company that was interested in being bold in a sea of same-old.

Two companies interested in disrupting and improving strata management in Vancouver.

We love what we do and communication is the cornerstore of any lasting relationship.

Joseph Nakhla

CEO

Meet Joseph, our Founder and CEO!
With two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, Joseph founded bazinga! in 2012, the world’s first cloud-based platform designed to improve the experience of community-living in cities. In 2017, his passion for improving community living naturally progressed into the vision behind Tribe Management Inc.

Having lived in multi-family communities, Joseph realized that there was a need for a tool to help Strata Councils and residents communicate efficiently, consolidate documents, and more. This was the beginning to a bold improvement in strata management – setting the foundation to revolutionize the industry.

Outside of work, Joseph loves giving back to his community. As a seasoned soccer player, he has been coaching junior and premier league teams for the past 25 years. On the weekends, you can find him smoking up meat and making homemade rotisserie with his wife, and 3 kids.

Hi, I’m Enzo. I’m a six-year-old purebred Doberman. My favourite treat is roast beef ribs. I can knock on doors if I need to get someone’s attention. I hate agility class. Maury Poitras

Customer Success Lead

Born in New York, Maury came to Canada in 1986 and spent most of his adult life in the city of Coquitlam. He enjoys living in BC because of the endless opportunities to get outdoors and experience the beauty of our province. Whether it be staying close to home, or going out a little further out, Maury enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and many other outdoor activities. As a member of the bazinga! support team, the team behind the property management software tool that our communities at Tribe rely on 💛 – Maury has supported property management teams (including Tribe) for over 8 years now. What he enjoys about his role, is always learning new things about the industry from colleagues and customers. Because the strata and property management industry can be a challenging industry, Maury strongly believes that supporting clients is at the core of property management and customer support industries. A fun fact about Maury is that he used to work as a tree planter. He worked for 5 summers in Ontario and BC and has planted hundreds of thousands of trees over the course of that time. Although he never kept track of the exact number…it would not be surprising if he planted over 100,000 trees in a single season. His personal single day best is 5,000 trees. Other than planting trees, Maury has also served as a soccer ref for over 10 years.
