Our purpose is to connect communities through heartfelt service and simple, innovative technology, while our Vision is harmonious community living, informed and inclusive.
Our BC Roots
Tribe was born in Vancouver in early 2017, out of the marriage of a prop-tech company and a small Property Management company that was interested in being bold in a sea of same-old. Two companies wanting to disrupt and improve the Property Management industry.
In 2021, Tribe announced the acquisition of Gateway Property Management, a leading Canadian Property Management company with more than 40 years of experience in providing communities with Condo, Rental, and Commercial Management across BC, Alberta and Ontario.
Tribe and Gateway shared values for loyalty and family created the perfect opportunity to provide Community Management with heart across British Columbia and beyond.
Initially, Tribe grew out of a vision to connect neighbours with neighbours. Our CEO, Joseph Nakhla’s experience growing up in a six-unit low rise in Alexandria, Egypt instilled in him a sense of community founded on social values and responsibility with a particular focus on condo-living. Today, Tribe Management is BC’s Strata and Rental Management leader, bringing Community Management with heart to more than 160 Communities from Victoria to Vancouver, Richmond to the Fraser Valley and everything in between!
